Published Thursday July 2nd, 2009

The next-generation of Buick's entry-level sedan will be priced from $32,745 while delivering a new level of style and engineering for the brand.
Power comes from one of two next-generation V6 engines with direct-injection technology. Each powerplant is attached to a six-speed automatic gearbox for reduced fuel consumption and increased performance. The 3.0 litre V6 generates 255 horsepower, and the larger 3.6 litre unit makes due with 280.
Standard on the base model are premium cloth seats, 17-inch wheels and a wide range of comfort and convenience features. Owners opting for the Allure CXL will also benefit from a dual-zone automatic climate control system, fog-lamps, LED turn-signal indicators, puddle lamps, and remote start. The Allure CXL is priced from $34,745.
All wheel drive will be optionally available, helping position the Allure towards an owner who values year round performance and winter driving confidence.
The Allure CXL AWD starts from $38,245 and adds a set of 18-inch alloy wheels and a completely automatic all-wheel-drive (AWD) system. With no driver involvement, the computer-controlled system delivers optimized traction and grip on any surface.
A top-line Allure CXS will relieve shoppers of $40,745 while adding heated and chilled seats, active-dampening suspension and chrome wheels. Optional will be features like a rear-seat DVD entertainment system, a radar-based Side Blind Zone Alert system and adaptive xenon headlamps.
Keep your eyes on your local Buick dealer for a closer look at the 2010 Allure when it goes on sale later this summer.
