1. Members of the Fundy Fencing Club took advantage of the weather to get outside for practice at King's Square as part of the summer fencing youth program. Seen here from left are: Alex Godlewski, Jennifer Ackerman, Pat Creamer and Miranda McCausland. Ackerman recently won a silver medal in the under-15 foil category at the Canadian championships. 2. Spencer Gowlett, 6, battles for the ball with his sister Sarah Gowlett, 9, during a drill at River Valley Middle School in Grand Bay-Westfield during the Summer Jam basketball camp. 3. Jake Estabrooks, 9, takes a water break during the same camp. 4. Daniel Goss has certainly learned to keep his eye on the ball during a Lancaster Little League baseball camp at Havelock School. A similar free camp will be held at Havelock school next week for players in the Lancaster minor division, ages 9-10. 5. Emma Dunn can thank the stalwart defenders of the Green Cobras for the lack of action she received during a youth soccer jamboree at Millidgeville field. 6. Of course when Emma Dunn did get some action she was ready to make the big save for her girls under-10 team. 7. William Delaney throws a runner out at home during the Lancaster baseball camp at Havelock School.
