SUSSEX - All last weekend horse riders enjoyed lessons with Robin Groves at the Princess Louise Park Show Centre in Sussex.

Back for her eighth clinic, Groves attracted an enthusiastic crowd anxious to improve their riding skills. Many of the participants have been attending the annual event since its inception - something that Groves says she enjoys seeing as it allows her to chart the students' progress from year to year.

This weekend the annual Victoria Day Antique Power Show and Tractor Haul will return to the show centre, featuring a variety of antique tractors. The Fundy Agility Sports Team will also perform demonstrations during the event.

Then, May 21-23, gold medal winner in reining at the World Equestrian Games, Texan Dell Hendricks, will be on site coaching riders to reining horses from across the Maritimes. Sponsored by the N.B. Codiac Reining Association, members will have the opportunity to attend a clinic with the well-known competitor and National Reining Horse Association's $1-million winner.
