Sackville writer Paul Marlowe's story 'The Resident Member' has been made into a radio play in South Africa. A humorous ghost tale set in Victorian times, the cast for the production includes actors Gideon Emery ('Star Wars: The Clone Wars,' 'CSI: NY,' 'Takers'), Damon Berry ('Starship Troopers 3,' 'To the Ends of the Earth') and Joe Vaz ('10,000 BC,' 'The Prisoner,' 'Lost Boys: The Thirst').

The story is part of a series involving the Etheric Explorers Club, which Marlowe describes as a kind of 19th-century 'X-Files' team. Members are intrigued in the paranormal, including ghosts and psychic phenomena, and attempt to explain such mysterious incidents scientifically. The Etheric Explorers Club is also present in Marlowe's next novel, 'Knights of the Sea,' set to be released in spring.

A podcast of the half-hour radio play can be downloaded for free from Marlowe's website at www.paulmarlowe.com.
