Guided tours of Fredericton's modern architectural treasures are offered today courtesy of The Atlantic Canadian chapter of Documentation and Conservation of the Modern Movement (DoCoMoMo) International and the City of Fredericton's Heritage and Cultural Affairs Division. Hosted by architect and author John Leroux, the tour begins in front of Fredericton City Hall at 1 p.m. From there, participants will be taken by bus to St. Dunstan's Catholic Church, the UNB Alumni Memorial Building, the Centennial Building, St. Anne's Anglican Church and the Beaverbrook Art Gallery, with Leroux offering insight and a historical narrative along the way. Similar architectural tours are hosted throughout Canada, the U.S. and Mexico today.
