Rec money for St. Martins
Government officials will make a joint funding announcement today at the Four Seasons Complex in St. Martins at 11 a.m. Tourism and Parks Minister Stuart Jamieson and Fundy Royal MP Rob Moore will be present for the recreation infrastructure presentation.
Update
Poverty forum details coming
Social Development Minister Kelly Lamrock, Léo-Paul Pinet, representing the non-profit sector, and Gerry Pond of the business community will outline details of the final forum on poverty that takes place next week. The three men are co-chairs of the Poverty Reduction Initiative. Monday's meeting with the media begins at 10:30 a.m. at the Saint John Trade and Convention Centre.

ACAP to host 'creek' open house
A public open house to highlight the Marsh Creek Restoration Initiative will be hosted by the Atlantic Coastal Action Program on Monday from noon to 8 p.m. at the Hilton Hotel's Kennebecasis Room. The event is intended to foster engagement, dialogue and information exchange on how Saint John's largest watershed could be enhanced to provide numerous community benefits including flood reduction, active transportation linkages, eco-tourism and an improved city image.
