BATHURST - The Bathurst Youth Centre will soon be offering an Internet café service to youth of the Chaleur region.

This initiative has been made possible through community partners like CCNB Bathurst, the Computers for Schools through Aliant Pioneers and the Department of Postsecondary Education, Training and Labour.

According to a news release, this project has been a long time coming and follows months of requests by the Youth Advisory Board of the Youth Centre to have access to Internet services after school hours.

Preparations for the Internet café, which will be located at the Youth Centre on St. Anne St., are now in their final stages and the official opening will be announced at a later date.
