
Car strikes moose, couple injured

A Grand Falls couple is recovering from injuries they received when their car struck a moose on Highway 17 early Wednedsay morning, Oct. 28. Paul and Gisele Castonguay were taken to the Edmundston Regional Hospital. Mrs. Castonguay was later transferred to the Moncton Hospital suffering from more serious injuries. Their car is a complete loss. Half a dozen members of the St. Leonard Fire Department attended the scene at 7:15 a.m. along with paramedics and the RCMP.
