ROGERSVILLE - Ambulance New Brunswick's new station in Rogersville officially opened Wednesday.

Ambulance New Brunswick president and chief executive officer Alan Stephen said the new building means paramedics will have access to the best tools and facilities.

In addition to Rogersville, new stations are now open in Sussex and Salisbury.

Stephen said construction is underway in Cap-Pelé, Boiestown and Florenceville and the construction of facilities in Fords Mills, Tracadie-Sheila and Kingston should start very soon.

Ambulance New Brunswick was created by the Government of New Brunswick in December 2007 and has more than 900 paramedics stationed across the province.
