Bruce Madsen of the Kennebecasis Lions Club presented a cheque for $1,500 to Joyce Melvin, executive director of PASAGE (Preventing Addiction: Substance Abuse and Gambling Education). PASAGE, a United Way agency, provides public education for adolescents and parents regarding the prevention of adolescent addictions and their work has been strongly supported by the Kennebecasis Lions Club for a number of years.
