Beaverbrook offers host of edVenture workshops and lectures

The Beaverbrook Art Gallery presents a series of workshops and lectures organized in association with City of Fredericton Tourism. Fredericton's edVentures summer program is Atlantic Canada's largest and most diverse vacation learning program in craft and culture. The program offers more than 120 workshops for various ages and a wide variety of interests. The Beaverbrook Art Gallery hosts a portion of these exciting new classes:

Workshops include:

July 6-10: Observational drawing with Glenn Priestley

July 13-17: Oil painting with Jennifer Pazienza

July 18-19: Go Green: The Maliseet Market Basket with Gina Brooks.

July 25-26: Threads and Colours: Weaving on Small Looms with Kim Bent

Aug. 1-2: History of the Maliseet Birch Bark Canoe with Wayne Brooks, Kim Brooks and Cody Brooks

Lecture series includes:

July 16: First Nation's Art with Terry Graff and Alan Syliboy

Aug. 20: Celebrating 50 years of Art and Culture with Bernard Riordon
