Fiddle camps at UNB-Fredericton

The fifth annual New Brunswick Fiddle Camp will be offered at Memorial Hall on the UNB Campus in Fredericton from July 13 to 24. The series provides fiddle as well as guitar and piano accompaniment instruction.
Week 1, July 13 to 17, is designed for children aged eight to 16. Instructors include fiddlers Jacqueline Rowan and Katherine Moller and Celtic singer Helen Morag McKinnon.
Week 2, for adults 16 years of age or older, follow from July 20 to 24. Instructors include local fiddler Katherine Moller, Stacey Read and Cajun fiddler Andy Stewart. Piano accompaniment classes will be taught by Brad Trecatin and guitar will be offered by Mary Jo Slattery.
