There is no reason to be bored in Plaster Rock today.
First of all, from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., there are fiddle, piano, guitar and mandolin workshops and jam sessions at the United Baptist Church across from the Blue Mountain Pharmacy, followed by a public dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. at Fraser School.
Beginning at 7:30 p.m., at Tobique Valley School, a fiddle concert will be held featuring world famous fiddlers Calvin Vollrath, Ivan and Vivian Hicks, Gordon Stobbe, the Fiddle Camp Instructors and Bathurst's wizard of the accordion, Roger Lanteigne.
Tickets are $15 or $40 for a family and are available at the door. Contact Helen at 356-8549 for information or e-mail _dhedgar@nbnet.nb.ca
