The Moncton Fairlanes Gems candlepin bowling team won more than 20 provincial and five Maritime titles between 1953 and 1979. The team was inducted into the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame in 1990. A sports hall of fame photograph used in commemorative edition recognizing the hall's 40th anniversary was missing a few of the members.
