* A Canada Day Celebrations kick-off event takes place at 12:30 p.m. on Boardwalk Stage outside Market Square in Saint John. The Saint John Canada Day Celebrations Committee invites all media and city residents to attend this kick-off event and receive full details of the Canada Day Celebrations to be held in the city June 30 and July 1. This year's theme: Celebrate Canada Day Coast to Coast. Residents with a connection to each province and territory, whether they live here in Saint John or just happen to be visiting on the holiday will be selected to carry each provincial and territorial flag in the July 1 parade. * Harbour Station's 8th Annual Community Fair will be in Saint John today through to Sunday at Harbour Station, 99 Station St. The fair runs today from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., Thursday and Friday from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from noon to 11 p.m. Admission is free to this annual family fair. * Antique Car Display will take place every second Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Brundage Point River Centre, 4 Ferry Rd., Grand Bay-Westfield. This free public event will feature antique cars, street rods, tuners, and motorcycles. Upcoming dates include July 1, 15 and 29. Aug.12 and 26. * Rothesay High School, 118 Old Hampton Rd., Rothesay hosts a bridge and dessert luncheon to benefit the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. A great selection of desserts plus coffee and tea will be served as well as prizes donated by sponsor Fickle Fancies. Tickets are $20 with a tax receipt of $10. Call 848-5464 for details and tickets.

* The Saint John Volunteer Centre, 66 Waterloo St., Saint John hosts a noon nugget on time management from noon to 1 p.m. Pre-register by calling 658-1555 or register prior to the event at 11:30 a.m. The cost of the workshop is $15.

* Ruth Sullivan, artist of the watercolour exhibition The Beauty of Nature will do a meet and greet from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Saint John Free Public Library, 1 Market Square. Light refreshments will be served. For information, call 643-7237.

* That's Me, a book and CD launch takes place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Saint John Free Public Library, 1 Market Square. It was created in memory of Thomas Woods. Original paintings by Sue Rose will be exhibited, and there will be a live performance by songwriter Steve Zaat. Books will be sold at the event and light refreshments served. * Dancing Bodies - Anything by Mozart takes place at Saint John's Imperial Theatre, 24 King Square South at 7 p.m. With a diverse mix of dance and music, this show features Tara Butler, Liam Caines, dancers from Felicità, the Studio Dance School and The Conservatory Ballet Ensemble from Halifax. Also included are our very own Saint John String Quartet. Tickets are available at Imperial Theatre box office; $13 for students, $22 for adults, and a premium ticket price of $35.
