Barbette Hayward provides the entertainment during the unveiling of the 2009 Fundy Bay Festival lineup of talent at a press conference at Hampton Inn Hotel & Suites on Friday. The Fundy Bay Festival will be held Aug. 6-9, with shows from Grand Bay-Westfield to Quispamsis. The main event is the Mardi Gras Party at Long Wharf the evening of Saturday, Aug. 8, with headliner Matt Minglewood, as well as Neon Highway. Earlier Saturday there will be a Mardi Gras Cruise on the Voyageur II, featuring entertainment by Rush Hour, with the $35 price including the Long Wharf party. There will be a draw Aug. 10 for a grand prize of a seven-night stay at any Pacrim Hotel in North America, airfare for two and a week's car rental, plus other prizes.
