Eastport Arts Center, in beautiful Eastport, Maine, offers a watercolour workshop with Evelyn Dunphy on July 24, 25 and 26. Just a short ferry ride from Deer Island or a 40-kilometre drive from St. Stephen, Eastport is a treasure trove of restored historic buildings, a first-rate gallery and the Tide's Institute.

Watercolour is a joyful, exuberant medium; this workshop is designed to help students make the most of its beautiful qualities. Each day includes demonstrations and specific assignments to broaden each student's knowledge and skil. Curriculum includes use of colour and value; creating a variety of edges; and principles of aerial and linear perspective to bring depth and poetry to paintings. This workshop is suitable for all levels of watercolour, with much individual attention.

Students are responsible for lodging and food.
