A celebration of the artist's life and work with approximately 80 works, including drawings and paintings, spanning from 1932 to the time of his death in 1968. n Saturday: Saint David's United Church, 7A Gondola Point Road, Rothesay, hosts its 10th Annual Art Show & Sale, today, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sixty-five local artists will display more than 225 paintings. Admission is $2.

Philip Lee, author of 'Bittersweet: Confessions of a Twice-Married Man,' appears at Opera Bistro, 60 Prince William St., Saint John, 11:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. While on the surface disclosing the story of the breakup of a marriage, Lee explores the nature of love in all its forms. Kathy Reichs, world-renowned author and forensic anthropologist, will speak in Moncton. Reichs, whose career is the inspiration for the Fox network's hit television series 'Bones,' is coming to promote her 10th novel, 'Bones to Ashes' at 2 p.m. at Moncton High School. Later in the evening, Reichs will speak at the Magnum Opus Gala Art Auction which begins at 7 p.m. the Delta Beauséjour. n Thursday: The Jeunesses Musicales du Canada Fredericton, presents the opera 'Le Barbier de Séville' at 7:30 p.m. in the Bernard-Poirier Théâtre of Le centre communautaire Sainte-Anne. n Saturday (Nov. 1): New Brunswick Museum showcases the exhibition Pilot Officer Art O'Neil, Flying Beaufighters in Forgotten Campaigns. Art O'Neil, born in Saint John in 1918, flew Beaufighter aircraft for the Royal Air Force from bases in North Africa and Italy during the Second Word War.
