(Route 121). bring along photos, stories, etc., to display at the adjoining Medley Hall. Refreshments will be provided.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 9, The annual pilgrimage to the shrine at Upper Skiff Lake, N.B., St. Francis of Assissi, begins at St. Clements in McAdam. Registration begins at 7 a.m., mass is at 8 a.m., followed by breakfast at a cost of $40. This includes lunch and super on Saturday and breakfast Saturday and Sunday, snacks and water along the trail, also transportation along the trail and to your vehicle. WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 13, 7 p.m., A concert to raise funds for the dragon Boat festival team the Holy Rowers at St. Pius X Church on Somerset Street, Saint John. FRIDAY, AUGUST 15, 7:30 p.m., Polypron, a New Brunswick chamber choir, performing repertoire of the 15th and 17th centuries, will present a concert at Germain Street Baptist Church, Saint John. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for seniors. David Mitchell is the director.

ONGOING, The Saint John Jewish Historical Museum is open for its 23rd summer season. The museum will remain open until Oct. 31. New exhibits include "Celebrating 150 years of Jewish History in Saint John" and "Jewish Holocaust Study Group, 2008." The permanent exhibits include a collection of religious artifacts, chapel, ritual bath and Hebrew School classroom. Regular hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays in July and August from 1 to 4 p.m. Closed all Saturdays and for Jewish holidays (Sept 30, Oct. 1, 9, 14, 15, 21 and 22).
