Beer-tasting event set for Grand Falls

If you enjoy great beer, come to the first beer-tasting event in Grand Falls, featuring beers from Germany, Belgium, England, Ireland, Brazil, Jamaica, Mexico and Canada. The Falls Beer Fest 2008 takes place Friday, Sept. 19, from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Grand Falls Farmer's Market. Only 300 tickets are available. Upon admission, ticket holders receive a sampling glass, 10 four-ounce sample coupons and a program detailing the products offered at the event. Tickets, $30, are available at the Economic Development, Tourism and Culture Department, 81 Burgess St. For details, call 475-7750.

Reunion

Kellar family will gather in Titusville

The First Keller (Kallar, Kellar) reunion will be held at Janet Kilpatrick's home, 266 Titusville Rd., (Klinker Jim's B & B) in Titusville on Sunday, July 27. Registration, $1 per person, begins at 1 p.m. There will be a potluck supper.
