* True Life: I Have Schizophrenia offers a sobering dose of reality. The show follows three young people living with schizophrenia and the everyday challenges they face. (MTV)

* Dog people won't want to miss Greatest American Dog, a reality show about - you guessed it - dogs and the owners who believe them to be superior to all other dogs, apparently forgetting that even the grandest canines will eat their own feces. The series begins with 12 dogs and their owners moving in together and competing in their first challenge, with one dog eliminated at the end of the show. (CBS)
