  • ANDERSON, BEULAH W. (DOLLY) On Monday, February 25, 2002, Beulah W. (Dolly) Anderson of Kingsley Road, Estey's Bridge, NB, passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital at the age of 87. Born in Barony, NB, and United by faith, she was a daughter of the late George and Matilda (Fraser) Lockhard and wife of the late Everett Anderson.. She is survived by a daughter Margaret Joyce Morrison (Robert) of St. Stephen; a granddaughter Cynthia Morrison (Andrew Fraser) of Saint John; grandsons Dale Morrison (Sherri Lynn) of Bedford, NS and Lloyd Morrison (Lisa) of Riverview, NB; three great grandchildren Ryan, Corey and Katie; two sisters Lillian Gullison and Catherine Kitchen both of Woodstock, NB. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; brothers and sisters George, Cecil and William Lockhard, Jessie Love, Mary Flynn, Bessie Scott and Annie Meagher. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton with visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Bishop's Funeral Home on Thursday, February 28, 2002 at 2 p.m. Interment will be held at a later date. Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Pallbearers for the service will be Ron Smith, Steven Fairley, Lenwood Anderson, Donald Flynn, Arnold Morrison and Paul Anderson.

  • BALL, LAWRENCE "LAURIE" ALLAN The death of Lawrence "Laurie" Allan Ball of Douglas, NB, husband of Cynthia (Boyd) Ball occurred on Monday, February 25, 2002 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB. He is the son of George and Rita (Nickerson) Ball. Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by a son, Chad (Jen) of Fredericton; and a daughter, Tara (Shane Bauer) of Fredericton; two brothers, Eddie (Edie) and Kevin both of Cape Breton, NS; and one sister, Kathie Ball of Cape Breton, NS. The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday from 4 pm to 8 pm at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB. Burial will take place at a later date in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. Please refrain from wearing perfume, family member very allergic.

  • RICHARD, MARGUERITE MARY The death of Marguerite Mary Richard of Minto occurred Sunday, February 24, 2002 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton. Born in Rogersville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Desi and Mary (LeBlanc) Richard. The last surviving member of her immediate family, Marguerite is survived by her seven children, Rita Flewelling of Minto, Fred Richard (Joan) of Welland, ON, Edward Richard (Juliette) of Oshawa,ON, George Richard (Fran) of Orangeville, ON, Irene Hache (John) of Minto, Doris Stewart (Cecil) of Chipman and Gerald Richard (Doreen) of St. Maurice, NB; 24 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildrren, 10 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceassed by her husband Antoine Richard, a son Emilen, four brothers Joe, Nazare, Edmund and Gerald, three sisters, Rosalie, Mary Blanche and Delphine. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home, where the family will receive visitors on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2002 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Minto, with Father Peter Stephen officiating. Interment will take place in the St. Brigit's Cemetery, Hardwood Ridge, at a later date. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations made to the Canadian Kidney Foundation.
