RCMP looking for two suspects in theft case

Police say the suspects stole about $2,000 in merchandise

The Tracadie RCMP are looking for the public’s help to identify two people they say were involved in a recent theft from a business in the Acadian Peninsula.

Police say two people entered a business on Highway 370, in Leech, about 15 minutes outside of Tracadie, and took about $2,000 of merchandise before police arrived at about 6 p.m. Jan. 26.

The suspects are described as a man with a medium build, brown hair, green eyes, and about five-foot-eight, and a woman with a slim build, brown hair, brown eyes and is about five-foot-two.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Tracadie RCMP at (506)235-2149 or to provide the information anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477), through the secure mobile app, or at crimenb.ca.
