Here's what's happening today on the small screen:

* One of television's prettiest cyborgs is back for bloody battle as Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles begins its second season. In this debut, we'll find out what happened to Cameron (the cyborg played by Summer Glau) after she was rocked by a car bomb. New to the cast is Garbage singer Shirley Manson, who plays the CEO of a major technology company. (A, Fox)

* Speaking of powerful businesses, The Company on Prison Break is still the target for Michael and the crew but the plan is put in jeopardy when Wyatt detains Bruce Bennett and injects him with a truth serum to find the crew's whereabouts. (Global, Fox)

* If you're looking for something light (and scrumptiously superficial), there's always Gossip Girl, where Blair is relishing a royal romance, much to the chagrin of Chuck. (CW)

* Bold standup queen Margaret Cho debuts her new comedy series, The Cho Show. (The Comedy Network)

* Other new series arriving tonight include the hotel comedy Do Not Disturb, starring Jerry O'Connell, and the third season of 'Til Death. (E) (Note: Both series will have their U.S. premieres on Fox on Wednesday)

* The 32nd Annual Canadian Country Music Awards air from the MTS Centre in Winnipeg (CBC) while the CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock is held in Nashville. (ABC)

* In the reality talent roundup, there's the last Canadian Idol performance episode before Wednesday's finale (CTV); the season finale of High School Musical: Get in the Picture (A, ABC); and another episode of Project Runway. (Slice)
