Rocmaura Nursing Home’s annual Gala Dinner Auction on Sept. 20 at the Saint john Trade and Convention Centre, raised $142,000 for the Rocmaura Foundation. The funds will go toward a three-year project to raise $350,000 to upgrade residents’ rooms. Tickets for the event were $100 and the live auction was conducted by auctioneer Tim Isaac.

In celebration of the 10th anniversary of this event, Canadian Celtic powerhouse Leahy, comprised of eight musical brothers and sisters, entertained and delighted the crowd of more than 750.
