A group of new exhibitions opened at the Saint John Arts Centre on May 22 during a reception from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Poetry of Desire, Mary Young's show of oil canvases, is in the Frazee Gallery; By the River, painted sketches by Jean Frances, is hung in the Library Gallery; Patty Pendelton's vivid acrylics in Through Their Eyes are hung in the Rotunda Gallery; Colin H. Smith explores the spatial depth of a garden, landscapes, flowers and trees with In a Summer Season in the Canada Games and Hallway Galleries; and, in the City Gallery, Eviscera, corporeal sculpture and wall works by Carol Collicutt and WhiteFeather.

Today is the last day to view the exhibitions.
