Clinics open for general public

SAINT JOHN - Public Health will be holding H1N1 vaccination clinics in Saint John, Grand Manan and St. Stephen for the general public beginning Monday. Clinics will be held at Exhibition Park from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and at the Grand Manan Community Complex Gym from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. On Tuesday, clinics will be held at the Marco Polo Cruise Terminal in Saint John from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; the Royal Canadian Legion, 43 Queen St. West, St. Stephen from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Grand Manan Community Complex Gym from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. For updated clinic information, visit: www.gnb.ca/flu or call 1-800-580-0038.

Mayor to drive for Red Nose campaign

SAINT JOHN - Mayor Ivan Court will volunteer for Operation Red Nose tonight along with his assistant Al Rouse and Katie Emrich, co-ordinator of the operation. In 2008, 100 Operation Red Nose volunteers travelled more than 7,400 kilometres and made sure 224 Saint Johners got home safely.
