Mawhinney backs civic center

Marc Mawhinney, president of Mawhinney Real Estate, right, and Amanda McConnachie, sales manager at Mawhinney Real Estate's Sussex office, present a cheque for $5,000 to Lloyd Secord, secretary of the Fundy Civic Centre board of directors. Mawhinney Real Estate celebrated the grand opening of its Sussex office Saturday with a free community barbecue at its new office at the Gateway Mall.
