I have been riding for many years. I do believe in the old saying that there are two kind of riders.......those who have gone down and those who will go down.
Like so many others, my wife decided she would like to ride as well.
At first I was not sure this was a great idea but later came to an agreement that she would take a certified motorcycle training course.
I stayed to watch the entire course and could not believe the useful things I was learning.
Now into her third year as a motorcyclist she has recently had two unavoidable incidents that I believe would have ended much differently if she had not taken the course.
One of those incidents left a 115ft black brake mark on the highway after a stopped completely on the four lane to allow a family of weasles to cross.
New riders, take a course. Old riders, take the advanced course!
